WWE.com has the CM Punk v. Chris Brown Twitter Feud as their number one story currently. The story itself retells how everything played out and where the feud stands, but I couldn’t help but notice that the WWE left out the “curb stomping” part of CM Punk’s original tweet.
Hmm…
A real life scenario of a superhero vs. a supervillain

Blog@Newsarama: Jill Thompson dresses an “American Dragon”
The world of professional wrestling has a cast of characters not so different than comics. You have your heroes and villains, both fighting for domination, or a championship. Legendary comic artist Jill Thompson has been busy designing ring attire for WWE superstar, Daniel Bryan (aka former residential indie legend, Bryan Danielson). Blog@ talked to Thompson about the inspirations that went into the designs, as well discussed her love of the sport, and whether she’d ever step into the ring.
I love Jill Thompson and mah boi D-Bryan!
WWE Superstar Kane, who comic readers may remember appearing in his brother’s 1999 comic book, made his masked return to the squared circle last night on WWE Raw SuperShow! The character of Kane, who is portrayed by veteran wrestler Glenn Jacobs since 1997, had been without a mask since infamously losing it in 2003.
On the July 22, 2011 episode of WWE Smackdown, Kane was brutally assaulted by Mark Henry and as a result was injured… until now. During last night’s Mark Henry vs. John Cena main event, Kane interrupted the match and proceeded to chokeslam Cena, then revealed his new mask to the world!
I Love Dust recently opened a new exhibit entitled Dead Wrestlers Society at the Aspex Gallery in Portsmouth. The exhibit showcases several new works from the UK design studio, all inspired by wrestlers who are no longer with us.
Professional Wrestling has given us some of the most colourful and charismatic characters in sports history.
Defying all attempts at labelling or categorisation these huge writhing muscular masses of outrageous behaviour clad in ever-changing wardrobes of flamboyant costumes and crazy color-ways.
What better muse for ilovedust?
I met Shawn Michaels, the Heartbreak Kid, yesterday because he was in town helping to promote Activision’s upcoming slate of hunting games like Big Game Hunter 2012 and Cabela’s Survival: Shadows of Katmai. We have a video and some fun stuff planned for Marvel.com, but I couldn’t help but post this photo (taken by the amazing Rich Herrera) and show Shawn (with some comics!), Marvel.com Associate Editor Ben Morse and myself.
Having been a Shawn Michaels fan since I was a kid, I was unsure what meeting him would be like and he was THE BEST. So super friendly and funny and just terrific.
Oh, and I’ve never played a hunting game. Pretty fun. The light guns that they come with are boss!
Just a sexy boy… not your boy-toy!
