Amazon is selling the Superman Ultimate Collector’s Edition as today’s Gold Box Deal of the Day. The set is available for the next 24 hours, and 24 hours only, for $45.99, 54% off the $100msrp. The 14-disc collection includes all four Christopher Reeve films including bonus material, Bryan Singer’s Superman Returns, and three extra discs of documentaries and other bonus material.

Not a bad price for all five Superman feature films (and the Dick Donner Cut of Superman II). The metric shitload of extras include the 1940’s Fleischer/Famous animated shorts, 1951’s Superman and the Mole-Men starring George Reeves, various interviews, documentaries, television specials (including the infamous NBC Superman 50th Anniversary special!), and trailers; and a physical reprint of Superman #8 by John Byrne and Karl Kesel!

Update: It was one-day only, still worth whatever price, though!
