We don’t really plug it enough on here, but Kurtis (Kayfabe) and I both have our own podcast called the KGBcast where we discuss all sorts of topics each week that we deem interesting. During this week’s show, we touched a bit on the CM Punk and Chris Brown feud that sparked up on Twitter and seemingly started to build up steam there for a moment or two.
I suggested that the WWE set up a cage match between the two superstars for the upcoming Wrestlemania but substitute Brock Lesnar in for CM Punk at the very last second as Chris Brown’s opponent. Could you imagine Brown’s face when he realizes that he have to face a monster like the former three-time WWE champion!?
I’m pretty sure that you’d see something that resembles the carnage you see above (with Lesnar playing the part of the Incredible Hulk, obviously).
I can see Rihanna do a run-in to slap Lesnar, causing Brown the upset heel victory…
WWE.com has the CM Punk v. Chris Brown Twitter Feud as their number one story currently. The story itself retells how everything played out and where the feud stands, but I couldn’t help but notice that the WWE left out the “curb stomping” part of CM Punk’s original tweet.
“I’m a huge Batman fan. Unfortunately I can’t read a lot of the Batman comics that come out because they’re written by Grant Morrison and I’m not a huge Grant Morrison guy, I read comics based on who’s writing, I know that’s not really a populist view but it’s the only thing I can tolerate right now, my favourite comic book writer… nobody asked but I’m going to tell you anyway… is Ed Brubaker.”
WWE Champion CM Punk will face the other WWE Champion John Cena tonight in a title unification match at the WWE SummerSlam PPV live from Los Angeles
